Kaylee Kingi

Junior Hip Hop | Intermediate Hip Hop | Senior Hip Hop | Contemporary | Acrobatic Assistant

Kaylee started dancing at Dance Encore Performing Arts Studio when the studio opened in 2004. Throughout her 13 years as a student at DEPAS and under the guidance of Miss Lesley Scott, Kaylee trained in numerous styles of dance including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Acrobatics. She was also an original member of our very first Show Group and remained a valued member until the completion of her training.

After the completion of her A.D.A. exams in Ballet and Jazz (in which she achieved High Distinction throughout) and her graduation from high school, Kaylee made the decision to pursue further professional training overseas.

Kaylee’s first professional engagement was through Lesley Scott (Dance Encore Productions) as a featured dancer in the Elvis tribute show, “King In Concert” performing in Casinos, Corporate Events and the N.S.W. club circuit.

In 2017 Kaylee auditioned and was successful in becoming a part of the world-renowned Hip-Hop dance company “The Royal Family”. Training under Parris Goebel, Kaylee competed in HHI Nationals (Auckland) with the company and further progressed to HHI Internationals in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout her year Kaylee travelled across New Zealand performing in different cities. Kaylee’s time in New Zealand solidified her pursuit of a professional dance career.

Since returning to Sydney in 2018, Kaylee has been a part of various Sydney based dance projects including The Oneill Project created by The Oneill Twins.

Kaylee is thrilled to be returning to Dance Encore Performing Arts Studio as a teacher. Kaylee hopes to impart the knowledge and training that she gained as a student, to her own students.
